  Mark White
 Senior Associate Minister Staff Elder

Mark was a geologist in the oil industry before being called into the ministry and joining the staff at Founders Baptist in 1993.

Mark is a church elder and serves as Senior Associate Minister, responsible for pastoral care, counseling and most administrative matters.

He and his wife Sharon have been married since 1979 and have two children, Nathan and Mary Ann.

  Michael Jackson
Minister of Music - Staff Elder

Michael is a church elder and serves as Minister of Music. He has been at Founders Baptist since coming as Minister of Music in 1999.

Michael loves to sing and play his trumpet, but the desire of his heart is leading corporate worship. His reverence for the ministry of music can be summed up in this quote, “Giving glory to our Lord through the medium of music, and calling others to do the same is a real joy, and a privilege not to be taken lightly.”

After graduating from the Master’s College in 1991 with a degree in music, he served in several different churches before God brought him here to Founders.

Michael and his wife Cathy met while they were both traveling with the Contemporary Christian music group “Eternity.” They were married in April of 1986 and have three children, Mike, Chris, and Rebekah. Aside from musical interests, Michael & Cathy like to ride bikes, play tennis, golf, snow ski, and spend time with friends and their family.
