The Missions efforts at Founders Baptist Church seek to further the spread of the good news of Jesus Christ to our own community and to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8). At Founders we are passionate about reaching this city with the saving message of God’s grace found in Jesus Christ alone. Our desire is to see all of Spring, Texas bowing joyfully in worship before our great God. We are also commanded to make disciples of all peoples of the world (Matt 28:19). We long to see men and women worshiping the Lamb from every nation and all tribes and peoples and tongues (Revelation 7:9). We continue to support church plants in cities including San Antonio, Boston, Baltimore, New Orleans and London and we are vitally concerned about planting churches where Christ has not yet been named (Romans 15:20). To that end we support a variety of missionaries and seminaries who are seeking to shine the light of Christ in dark lands around the globe.
Local Outreach
Monthly Evangelism Outing
The last Saturday of each month, a group from Founders meets at 9:00am at the church to evangelize the neighborhoods surrounding the church. For more information on our local evangelism ministry contact Clay Howard at clayandnikky@hotmail.com.
Other Local Outreach
Men and women from Founders participate in various local outreach opportunities such as prison ministries, nursing homes, schools and crisis pregnancy centers to share the gospel with those in need.
